i run the E/T tires on my duster, i run low 11's in street trim and it hooks up on them and most everyone I know run the mickey thompson tires over the hoosiers for a street tire.

It's kinda ironic but I had just removed Cooper Cobra 255/60s cause they were spinning the first 50 feet or so and put on 275/60 M&H drag radials. Same 60 foot times! The track had a street car class raceoff that same night and they did not allow drag radials. It was a heads up run whatya brung deal and my buddy won it with a 440 Dart Swinnger...but he had to break out the juice.

I've found the ET Streets and the Hoosier tires to work about equally well with a couple of exceptions.

The Hoosiers last longer, but the sidewalls are very soft. This is great for a car with little suspension as the tire does a lot of the work, but for a car that hooks hard it can make the car want to bog.

I have found the Hoosier sidewalls to start cracking in just a couple months. Don't know why but that was my experiance. I will not be buying another tire from Hoosier. My MT tires lasted for years prior to getting the same cracking and by that time they were wore out.
