Hey Gang
I'm wanting to put super stock springs under my 67 "S" 383 automatic. I know they make different weight springs. Should I go with the 2800lb or the 3400lb? I'm not really sure how much this thing ways.

Good question. I am looking at these for my 73 small block duster. Also,is there any problem running the super stocks on the street ? Or would the OEM HD 340 springs be a better choice ?

I run the super stock springs for street use and occasional track use. They are alittle stiffer of a ride but I don't mind it. You have to use the longer shock for them also. When I bought the car had them on it and wanted to replace. I believe they were 15 yrs old not to mention the shocks. They were so old that the manufacturer couldn't find part number. I wanted more for clearance of tire. Running 12.5 mickey thompson sportsman with no reloc. of springs.

I am using the 002/003 springs on my 1971 Demon 440 project. I have a spring relocation kit, mini-tubs, 1" lowering block, and a stock A-body 8 3/4" rear. Mickey Thompson 15x10 Draglites with 7" backspacing and 28x12 - 15 MT SR radials. No clearance problems at all. Here is a couple pictures.
