I will agree that it depends on the car/rims.

What's the point of buying white letter tires? To hide the white letters? Now, how stupid does that sound? lol

People like certain tire types they have used in the past with good results. Brand loyalty.

Tire makers offer white letters on one side with a blackwall on the other to appeal to customers with different visual tastes.

Sounds smart to me.

i don't know.. those two cars above with white letters and black steelies look to be a perfect example of why you should go black wall out to me..

I hear ya but it's one more example of how subjective these matters are.

Most folks here have put together what I consider to be damn good looking packages, even if I wouldn't have chosen the same.
