I read and follow Andy's work as well. But if you bought the Holley distributor already, you need to check the shaft into the oil pump gear drive. MSD oh made the distributor made the shaft to short512. I am looking at as many angles as possible. I know AndyF is a huge fan of it. It's the last missing component to putting the car back together.....

Yes, I have the supersniper and hyperspark ignition systemHoly crap. I have not bought it yet. Is this your setup?

Yes, I have the supersniper and hyperspark ignition system
Holley knows about itDid you inquire to Holley about it? That ain't gonna float. Now you have me thinking the intake is coming back off to check that measurement unless I come up with a fixture that makes me comfortable with good accuracy....
JW
Holley knows about it
You should also join the Holley sniper page, a lot of good info there. I'm not sure if the New units are corrected or not. There is a build date on the distributor housing. My was from last November or December if I remember right and obvious it wasn't corrected at that time
That's awesome and it's good to have some tech support with it. I'm in the same boat, large cam solid roller on corn. It's a good thing my tuner loves my rib eye steak lol. Good luck and let us know what happensI will definitely do that. I am considering purchasing all of it from Steve Morris. He isn't the cheapest but seems to have his act together and now offers a service to test the unit. My camshaft isn't exactly FI friendly and I want a base program to get it started without problems since I am running a solid flat tappet....
Thanks for the heads up,
JW

400/499 with trick flow 270s,low 7 lift and 288 duration, 110. Hoping around 12.5 - 13.1 comp.I have a tight LSA but it will work. I also have a killer efi guy in town if I can't figure it out but that will be last resort.
What's your build?

Lol on the carb part. I'm kinda New again to mopar. I started a thread "400 stroker rookie" a while back. Been dealing with life and trying to build my 64 dart and it's definitely been challengingThat well beyond my build. A 408 deal fell apart on me last week so in the RB goes. My brakes are hydroboost assist and getting the RB under the hood with that setup will be interesting. Either way the car will never see another carburetor as long as my name is on the title...
