I am definitely not a chevy guy, but I sure like this!

I like most anything American and old. That's cool as heck!

A few months ago, a same vintage, same cab long wheelbase "sign service" truck with a 350 a 4 speed and a hydraulic "boom" with a ladder affixed was for sale locally for a paltry $800.

I was very tempted to use for roof access and tree trimming at my shop complex.

I have some very large cherry tree branches that are hanging over my shop I need gone. I`m sure a pro would start at that price and then some.
An old bucket truck or cherry picker would be nice, a neighbors trees branches are hanging over my yard about 25 feet easy, would like to get rid of them too. None of these trees are on my property, but I would have to foot the bill :(

A year or so back there was a big wood chipper for sale on marketplace that was 318 powered. I wish i'd had the money for it.

edit: I had the perfect name for it.. 318woodchip...

Ha! They made LOTS of wood chippers with the slant 6.

My ex father-in-law had a saw mill setup with a 6' blade, it was powered by a 60s poly 318. When we were visiting, you could hear the saw whine before he started pushing timber through it. At 4:00 in the afternoon, you heard it shut down and knew he was headed back to the house for a few cold ones. LOL

Seen an old 69 jeepster that had a big dich which on it down in Florida, they used it to barrie 3" irrigation lines in strawberry fields, had a bad *** Buick v6 all stock in it, a work horse

That's right up @67Dart273 alley!!
Already done!!

This is an old Dual 3 point I bought not long ago. The Farmall 100 (Super A) is not 3 point, I had to make brackets to mount it. Dual is the grampa of many of what you see to day. It was bought by Woods, called "Dual Woods" for awhile, then just "Woods." If you look in the right spot for a tag, many of the modern compact tractor accessories, including brush thrashes, are made by Woods

Before I bought this, I actually was doing searches to either find a trailer mounted one or build one, and found out about truck mounted ones.
