Why do all cars look similar/same/cloned now?

We have that insect looking thing here in the US too.
Canada too. My wife likes it. I said "Over my dead body".

At the risk of getting flamed, I love the current Charger and would own an SRT in a heartbeat. Love the Challenger too.

Love my SRT! I expect to own it for a looooong time.

We have Nissan Jukes here in the U.S. too. I can think of a lot of cars that look much worse. Current crop of fish-mouth or alien-face junk makes me sick to my stomach.

My wife also commented that she liked the juke.

I shuddered and winced.

Looks like a first year design student threw up on Kermit the frog.

the lexus cars have looked like they ran out of ideas to me, also . BUTT UGLY!

It think the new “Angry Hello Kitty” Prius take the cake for ugly modern design...

Not to pick on toyota (well, maybe...), but they have always taken ugly to a new level. If this car's grille were a face, I'd say it looked like it just bit into a lemon.

At first, I had mixed feelings about the new Renegade, but it grew on me so much I bought one.

It's definitely not a cookie cutter of most of the other smaller SUV styling.

From the driver's seat it looks great, out over the power bulge hood, and feels much more truck like.

In fact, if they stretched the unibody and put a small bed on it (like a honda ridgeline), I bet they would sell as trucks.

It's definitely different. Not in a bad way. How has it been for reliability?

So far so good.

It's a '15 and had 31K on it when I bought it.
I'm just about to go out of warranty at 33.5K right now.

After that 2500 miles, no issues other than a couple small spots where the safety glass appears to be delaminating- which is kind of a known issue. I'm trying to decide if it bothers me enough to have the dealership replace it or just live with it.

There are some minor annoyances, and a few areas where the PT cruiser it replaced was somewhat better (fold flat seats to name one).

It definitely handles better and is more powerful than the PT, though.

Mine is a 1.4 turbo six speed manual. It's pretty fun to drive and has a power to weight ratio close to a V8 Duster!

There have been some issues with the 2.4 9 speed auto, so I steered clear of that combo.

I'm averaging about 34 MPG, which is 10 more than the 5 speed 2.4L N/A PT got.
