Any of you guys, or gals, here from the wichita area? Just curious if there were any others in my area.

If you're the owner of a '65 vert valiant, I saw you the other day north of 53rd st and N. Meridian. Girlfriend thought I was having some sort of attack since I started studdering when I saw another valiant ON the road.

Can't say I've seen that car yet.

what condition was the 65 in? looked at 1 at the wam show this year-- very rough but it was being driven. Lawrence

Not sure who owns it. Seen one at wam show also. Man for all the guys in Wichita we all need to get together one day shot the ****. Got about week and half for mine to finish. It toys install for a grudge race. But after that up for anything.

This might help. It's the

FABO Members' Map

I tried to look for you but it was acting kind of weird. Maybe I need to clean my mouse or something -- couldn't get the icon to STOP. Hopefully you'll have better luck.

It looked like it was in fairly decent shape, drove and passed without any serious noises from what I could tell. It had the side fender trim even, something I havent seen in person on any of the valiants in person. It looked alright actually.
There's been a good few mopars at the cruise in at the central and west the few times I've been there. If I can ever get my garage cleared out enough that I can get the Signet in and start working on getting it back on the road, I'd be driving it often.

I just heard about the central and west thing this morning. I'll have to try and make it over there some weekend when not under the car.

So a grudge race eh? I'm up for watching some of that! :happy1:

The map is jumping all over the place. Is that the original map? If so I am MIA... because I used to be on it.

The Girlfriend and I were just out for a cruise one night a few months agoand just happened upon it. weren't a ton of cars, and even fewer mopars of course, but it was a cool little show.

I had that same problem when I tried to look for Kansas members. I figured it was my computer but I guess it wasn't.

Probably just some technical error on their end ... I'm sure it'll be straightened out shortly.

so how many of you guys show up to the local cruise -in on Friday's I've never been -timing hasn't been good -- I might have to drive the 66 valiant I acquired not too long ago--

i'm for a get together-- heck we could meet at the track & do some bench racing . Lawrence

Planning on going out 24th to central and west. Also they just started up cruise nights that start at Seneca and Pawnee fri and sat nights.
As far as going to track I am always up for that. Live to get some more mopars out there.

Man, if my turd was anywhere close to running, then I would. But it's still 30 miles away. I need to get the thing on a trailor and hauled up here.

I'm not from Wichita, but an old friend of mine was. About 18 years ago while I was driving across the U.S. on business I went by there just to see the city in person. There is some landmark architecture there that I didn't have time to see. Anyways,, there is a cool website called Draggin Douglas that chronicles the Wichita street scene back in the 60's. Here's the link:
