have 68 dart stock suspension, would like to put 245/60r14 with either 7" rally rims or 8" which will fit or rub ?

Probably not. I had 235s on the back of my '69 Dart and tried different backspacing and/or spacers on the wheels. Never could get the 235s to stop rubbing in at least one spot.

I stuffed a set of 255/60r15 tires behind my completely stock suspension 73 dart swinger. I have 15x8 with 4.5 backspacing rims, its tight but doesn't rub.

The pre-70 cars are tighter in the back than the 70+ cars. The 70+ cars will take a 255, the pre-70 cars usually will not.

I have two 68's. One car has stock wheel wells, Wheel Vintique's 15x7 SBP Ralleys and 255/60/15 BFGoodrich T/A's with no rubbing.

The other 68 has the lip rolled/trimmed, 15x7 LBP Ralleys and 275/60/15 Goodyear Eagle GT II's with no rubbing.

Both are tight fits. btw, my front tires are different sizes than the rears.
