has anyone used the fmj spindle swap ? will 14 inch wheels clear the calipers .not stock wheels mags wheels ? have access to THIS swap .can anyone confirm this ? thanks :

If your donor has the 10.87" rotors, yes. Not sure on the larger rotors. Most F-bodies came with 14" wheels.

My '77 Roadrunner had 14" rallyes on it and 10.87" rotors. I am not aware of a larger rotor option being available on the FMJ bodies. The ones I worked on with 15" wheels (Super Coupe, 5th Ave., Dippy) also had 10'87" rotors. Hope this helps...

My F body has 14" wheels, my M body has 15" wheels. The rotors are the same.
Spindle "height" hasn't got anything to do with it.
14 inch wheels work, with the regular 10.8 inch diameter rotors.
They Don't work with the 11 3/4 inch rlotors.

great info guys .thank you all .i will measure all that are there. 3 cars hopefully they are 10.8 i know there are other ways but the 73 a body stuff ya cant find ,the kh /mustang 2 thing ? sound expensive .this sounds like it will work ! keep it coming if ya got anymore info thanks again .

You should be good as the rotors off a 77 Aspen are the same part number as a 87 Fifth Ave. as I used an old rotor off my Fifth and put it on my Aspen when no one had one in stock.
