will a 904 trans out of 68 dart bolt into a 73 dart?

i found a great deal on a 904 tranny from 68 dart.
instead of rebuilding my 904, will a 904 out of a 68 bolt right in?

I don't think anybody here is a mind reader. Slant 6? V8? Small block? Big block? More info please.
 
Yes. They will interchange.
 
..............the 68 340 dart should have a 727 tranny if its a factory car...........still will swap , but u need a shorter drive shaft and a few other pieces, but they will b with the 727....kim........
