Will I get a leak

Hello All
I have removed my speedometer cable as it does not work. I am planning to change my gages in the near future to the electric speedometer that does not need a cable.
My question is since I removed the cable will fluid leak out of where the cable was?

It won't leak. It is sealed around the housing that the cable screws into and around the speedo gear shaft.
