Will this carb work well on a stock 318?

Its a 4bbl Holley 600cfm, the List # on it is 6619-1 and the number below that 1676. it has an electric choke.

Before I go through the work of cleaning it up and rebuilding it, is it worth it? Has anyone used a carb like this on a 318 or other chrysler smallblock?

If the cam is mild or stock this carb will work. There carbs have the "reverse" idle mixture screws. Thyat means that to "richen" up the idle, you would turn them IN instead of out. They were designed as emission carbs with lean idle and generrous pcvr for power valve. Good carb, it just doesnt like big cams.
