Congrats to my son Jon on Superstock win in Vegas!
We picked up our 42th NHRA Wally for his 71 Duster 340
SS/KA win.
He faced and beat Randy Loge in his 72 Demon 340 in the final
and chiseled out about a car length lead by 1000 ft. In the round before
Jon defeated former World Champion and our friend Don Kenn's Mustang in
a very close race (.02 at the finish) after Don put a Holeshot on Jon and Jon
outran him in high gear.
Randy is the Head Engine Builder and Machinist at "Loge and Stein"
Race Shop. They are one of the top West Coast Engine Builder particularly
on Mopar Enpgines and Located in the Bay Area. I recommend them for
all you machine shop needs fo you live out West.
The Loge family of three boys and the father are one of the most winning
family on the West Coast Superstock and Stock racing.
Randy's younger brother won Superstock Eliminator on Sunday in Vegas Divisional.
The Loge family was our neighbors back when the boys were in Diapers in the Mid 70's =
