I put on the windlass molding and the top doesn't look right. Am I missing molding od have it assembled wrong. This is a 71 swinger

I installed a set from C.I. just last week. I had to trim some of the rubber to make it fit better (it overlapped at the vertical post on the vent window). Just make sure the mounting hooks line up with the holes in the door and you'll be golden.

It's not really the windlace. My problem is with the panel that you screw in that the fuzzy attaches to. It just looks unfinished
 
Aahaa the problem I'm having is with the rear upper inner window panel. The metal one. It just doesn't look finished. Do I have it together wrong?
 
Has anyone got a picture of their windlace and how it ends up at the top of the door jam? thanks. Jim
