Looking for some round, solid rubber cord that goes in a channel in front or rear window gaskets. I haven't searched for a substitute or alternate source.
Any suggestions ?
TIA

Hey Ben, This 440nika. First of all I fell and broke my hand so I haven't had the chance to check that turn signal switch yet that your helping me out with but more importantly I think I may have your windshield cord. I bought it new from Yearone along with a new windshield gasket and the gasket I bought doesn't need the cord, if you'd like I can take some pictures and send them to you if you send me your e-mail. Dave!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I got it from Restoration Specialties. They sent me the incorrect "chrome" one the first time.

I got mine from here http://166.82.96.3/homeframes.html
Place is called Steele Rubber products. oxymoron I know :) I'm pretty sure they have the chrome and the black style.

Plenty to fit all of the way around the windshield. I cut mine when I pulled the glass, didn't even realize there was a lock strip until it was too late.
