Hi,

I am having an issue with the window sweeps (new) on a 67 Dodge Dart.

The rubber from the window sweep grabs the glass when raising the window and pulls the sweep edge up resulting in the edge being up instead of down causing problems when you go to lower the window. I end up using a plastic putty knife and push the rubber edge down while lowering the window. I don't know if the sweep is too sticky, thick or long. Anyone run into this issue and if so how did you resolve?

Thanks,
Darin

I'm guessing your talking about the outside rubber. Try putting a coat of wax on the glass, don't know if it will help but worth a try. I bought a set once and the rubber was straight instead of V shaped like the factory one was. It chattered against the glass going down until it got broke in.

No, you're not the only one my Barracuda has the same problem but only on the passenger side...go figure. I never gave it much thought but I'll try the wax and see if it helps.
