Windshield trim clip size and placement

Sorry, I have to revive this thread as I am so lost. 69 Dart windshield trim clips, I have purchased 2 trim clip kits from different outfits, most recent like today I received 1 kit from Classic industries, kit has 19 taller clips (height wise) and 4 shorter clips (height wise), enough screws but no goop installed on the screws, before this I got a set from RT Specialties, 20 taller clips (height wise) and 4 shorter clips (height wise) enough screws & the screws had like wax on the screws.

My problem is, the 4 shorter clips, where do they go??? Or, are there supposed to be 6 shorter clips in the kits?
From reading this thread it appears that the shorter clips go on the A-pillar where there are 3 screw holes on each side, is this correct?? Neither kit had enough shorter clips to do the job if it is correct that the shorter ones go on the A-pillar 6 screw holes.

The shorter Clips go on the front side pillars, the others hold the trim out too far.

Like mentioned above, you need 6 smaller clips that go on the "A" pillar, 3 on each side.

For our 67 cuda, the same 6 for the sides are also for the top(8) and each of the lower corners for a total of 16 of that size. 7 "taller" go to the bottom.

Same problem here. I got these clips thinking I was on the right track but looking at yours I think I need to buy a few more. The bottom trim on my 68 barracuda was sticking out and no clips on the sides. First pic is the side which the long short clips Correct? The bottom should be clios I have ? Which yours are green ?
