Those trains look nice StrokerScamp!!

thankya. I like your cop car too. you got that 80s light bar right on the money. been pulled over many a time by one of them.....the old bubble gum machines, too. LOL

I try to do the bubble rust by mixing rust colored paint and chalk dust together and dabbing it around the the body.

I discovered this trick by accident, If you try it pratice first.. I put a layer of testor glue on the part that I want to bubble, then after I paint and fade the car I hold a lighter close to the glue area on the body and If it heats the glue right it will start bubbling under the paint... Looks like real bubble rust..

Wanna better more realistic method? Dig this....Paint whatever you want to look rusted FIRST with a THICK coat of red primer. Then, sprinkle some sea salt over the surface where you want that kinda heavy rusted look. then apply your finish coat. After it dries, gently brush over the area with a stiff paint brush, so that it will knock off SOME but not all of the sea salt. the missing pieces will reveal the primer and look like rust, while the remaining pieces covered with the finish coat will appear to be bubblin up. Works real nice.

Wait until you see what I'm going to try and build soon.... it may go well... may be a disaster... we'll have to see.

Here's the interior for the Edsel it's more Viper than anything, notice the Pistol grip shifter from an older Mopar shortened to work in this car. I so wish I could build a full scale version of this car it would be awesome to drive

Lookin' good! Neat concept and good build.
Only thing is that 'sparkly' green upholstery reminds me of the vinyl used to upholster the booths at a local Chinese restaurant. LOL.

Thanks!! This turned out to be a whole lot more work than I planned, but then don't they all. lol I finished widening the tail lights tonight of course when I widened the rear quarters that meant the bumper & lights needed to but lengthened out as well. Wow this is a challenge it's going to make my next model a piece of cake (I'm going to do a '73 conversion on a '69 Dart to do a replica of our Dart) Thanks again & I'll keep everybody updated as I get the Edsel through the final stages.

I'm having a crack at making a working 4 stroke V-twin petrol engine....from scratch. Even with cast iron sleeves in alloy barrels. Making the crank from 4140....billet. Having a crack at making piston rings too, from cast iron. It will be approx. 33cc.

That's some great work. That take's some real skill!!!

Well.... I thought maybe I would tease you guys with the idea of my next project... lets see if I can pull it off. It isn't hard to figure out what's going through my head....
