Want to buy Wiper Blade 15" Refills for stock wiper arms on 1972 Dodge Dart Swinger.
Classic Industries 17528B gap on the clips are too small, need to be approx 3/8"

Show the wiper arms on your car.
Chrysler bought from both Trico and Anco.
The Anco are 'push button' and use two claws.
The trico I haven't seen info on but with a photo it will be easier to figure out what you need.
 
You can remove the clip from one and put it on the other, assuming everything else fits

I think they sent you the wrong part.

I have had good luck calling them and having the Customer Service rep go pull the part they will send and compare it to the photo on their site.

4 years ago they showed a 72 (IIRC) glove box liner photo for the 67 dart liner. Before I ordered they pulled the part and looked to see if it was as I described or the photo.
It was as I described not the photo. The SC said they just post the photos that the manufacturer sends them.

Got nothing to loose but a phone call!


By the way...

My 67 dart uses this type of wiper.

And their refill K164R fit perfect. The bump in the photo on top of the refill is just a shipping plastic part that comes off and you toss away.

I have a copy of the 73 FSM and it shows this as the procedure for removing the wiper blade holder and refill...

Assuming it did not change between 73 and 74, maybe you have the wrong wiper blade holder on your car???

The "red" dot (might be a white dot IIRC) type don't need the metal keeper at the end, as one part of the wiper blade holder comes off and that is what holds the refill in.

I have NOS wipers refills Anco and Trico. I believe I have NOS Blade assemblies also. I just have to pull my tote of wiper blades out and take a look. The new China stuff is cheaply made and seen them come apart so be careful.
