If you take a look at the top or engine bay side of the wiper motor. There are three (going from head) phillips screws that you can loosen. Simply line the mark on the top plate with the locations listed in the photo and then your 3 speed wiper motor works with any of the labeled body styles.

As far as I remember these are the right locations. The pictures from rick eherberg (sp?) But no longer posted so I had to recreate from memory. The A body spot is correct as I used a c body motor on my A

Is there any more detailed info on this procedure anywhere that you know of? I appreciate your help...

If I find another wiper motor I can takes pics as I do it. It'd very straight forward though.
I have never seen the info any where else on the net. I believe it was on mopar style I found the info from. But when I went to get the pic recently it was gone :-(

Factory service manual apparantly has it.
Not the pic I recall but similar answer.
I could take pics of doing it with a junk 3 speed I have floating around (if I didn't scrap it)
It's a very simple procedure.
The pic below has the locations needed

According to my 1974 Chassis Service Manual, the above drawings are not quite correct. I purchased an NOS three-speed wiper motor for an F-Body that I will be putting into my Duster. The illustration below from my 1974 manual shows the correct locations. I added the location for the F-Body as that location did not even exist on the pre-1976 wiper motors. The second pic is of my NOS F-Body motor. Notice that it is still set up for an F-Body car. I added callouts to show the locator tab positions for E/B, C, and A Bodies. Notice also that the E and B Bodies use the same tab location.

Just for people like me that are cheap, I recommend buy a Cardone 3-speed b-body motor part #40-370. My ‘67 Barracuda used the early style arm and pivot bushing. I simply swapped to the late sixties, early seventies a-body 3-speed arm and bushing and re-clocked the gear cover as posted above. The Cardone motor cast about $80 from Summit and appears to be fairly well rebuilt.
Here’s the thread.
