My barracuda sat for years while ive been working on it so i can drive it this summer. The wipers always worked. Afew weeks ago i finaly got it out and took it to a local cruise in. On the way home i ran into some rain. The wipers decided they didnt want to work. Afew days later i was looking to see what was up & i turned them on & the wipers moved a few inches & stoped. Not sure whats up with them. Its a 3 speed wpier switch & 3 speed motor. Any way to test the motor & or switch ? After looking at some pictures im not sure now if mine is a 3 or 2 speed motor. This is my first 67 & the 3 & 2 speed motors look alot like. I will post some pics of the motor & switch

Contrary to popular belief this IS a two speed.

Get a shop manual and dig in. There are troubleshooting tips in the text section. Read newer manuals as well as some are "more" or "better." MyMopar.com, they are free

A-Bodies didn't have 3-speed (switches). The variable speed used the same motor as the 3-speed.
This is the 3-speed/variable (I have seen it used with a two speed switch)

The question was about 67s, these are 67s.

The number on the motor are not the numbers in the parts book, the numbers on the switch are.

Switches (67)
2770378 Variable
2820525 2-speed

Looks like a quick visual would be 4wires =2spd. 5= variable.

First, make sure your ground strap is clean and making good contact on both ends.

Here is my wiper motor and switch. I watched a video on how to take the switch apart and clean it. The guy said its very easy to put back together. It was but now it doesnt seam to work right lol Befor i took the switch apart it felt like it had 3 clicks but now that i took it apart it turns on real hard and it has only 2 clicks

That looks like the 2770378 variable speed switch (should be stamped on the switch).

yes the number on the switch is 2770378 The motor has never beed messed with as far as i can see. So from what ive been told is that the switch is a varible speed and the motor is a 2 speed. Am i correct on that ? If so how hard will it be to find a 2 speed switch ?

Well we aren't mind readers. I asked you if there was 4 or 5 wires on it lol and get no response....
But to answer your question, YES that's a variable switch.

looks to be 4 wires on the motor heavy red and dark brown a smaller light tan and a blueish green

So I'm going by Cuda Al's pic above, which leads me to believe yours is a 2spd motor. Our 67 cuda with variable spd has 5 wires.

There is a test procedure in the Factory Service Manual for bot the motor and the switch.
