Title says it all ! I found the schematics for the 1964 Dart, but they don't detail what wires does what past the cluster connector...

None of my bulbs are lit in the cluster, but I removed and tested one and it's fine.

Thanks for any help !! I just got that car and already love it.

The illumination lighting is all orange. Is ANY dash illumination working, like heater bezel, radio, etc?

The dash lighting is a bit of a "trick"

There is TWO power sources TO the headlight switch

One comes off the ammeter and ONLY operates the headlights

The second comes off the tail lamp fuse and operates tail/ park and dash

That goes through the dash dimmer control, comes out (usually tan) goes down to the fuse panel and through the INST fuse. Then out on orange wiring to all controlled lamps

So for the dash lighting to work, the park / tail must work, and the dimmer must be twisted to left. At that point, you should have power on both ends of the INST fuse

I assume you are using these diagrams from MyMopar?

That's correct, those are the diagrams I have. Thanks, I'll get back on that project in the morning. All exterior lighting works perfectly, but none of the cluster backlights. I have a light blue connector at the left of the steering wheel, but It looks like I'm missing the hand brake switch. Other than that (and badly corroded fuses connectors), the electrical seems fine.

Thanks for your "lights" :) there is no 12v on the fuse that has the orange wire coming out. But if I manually put 12v on the tan wire, the backlight works.

I'm making progress. Next thing is to remove the swich and find out if it's a bad connection, or a bad switch.

Thanks !!! That saved me precious time !

After that, next challenge is to find out where the h*** the transmission leak is.
