While I am at it, does anyone know what voltage regulator I should pair with in a new 95amp alternator?
Thanks
Thanks
Go back to who, what, where you got the alternator from. I would NOT put that much alternator in the system without making DARN sure the wiring is up to snuff, MINIMUM!!!:While I am at it, does anyone know what voltage regulator I should pair with in a new 95amp alternator?

Yes, a different higher gauge wires added, amp meter bypassed (replaced by voltmeter - see posts above), added wire run through firewall to a different fuse box and fuseable link removes and replaced with a breaker.Go back to who, what, where you got the alternator from. 1....READ the Mad article and perform some sort of ammeter bypass
2....Take apart and check, repair the bulkhead connector and consider upgrading the wiring
3...Install a FUSED protected charge wire from the battery to the alternator
Seems right, but the wiring diagram would prove that out.On all would work, off it could be a kill switch/anti theft device no?
RRR are you going to the Tim Taylor school of more power? Why stop at 95 amp? Go 200 amp and run a welder off it
No, but it sounds like the OP is. lolRRR are you going to the Tim Taylor school of more power?
Did you miss the part where the wiring diagram was recommended to be consulted? Thanks, glad there were no immediate objections that I missed
