Im using an industrial ignition switch from a forklift. I installed a steering column with no switch in m y 70 duster drag car. I have a mallory unilite and an msd 6al and updated voltage reg. The ignition switch has the following terminals. Batt, start, ign, grnd, accy. the unilite doesnot require an resistor so thats out of the loop. any suggestions on how to wire this ign switch? the batt, grnd, start are all obvious. Would the ign terminal supply the coil and voltage reg? and the accy supply the fuse box?

Yup. The accessory terminal is hot in BOTH when the key is in "run" OR "accessory."

Whatever you hook to the "ign" terminal is that stuff which you do NOT want "hot" during accessory, such as the gauges.

You don't need the ground connection
