I don’t even have to cut the steering column collar since it’s a 74. It fits with power steering. However the drivers side doesn't fit an A body unless your not planning to steer the car..

Anybody use the year one hp exhaust manifolds ? The last page has some good pics of the B body manifold in an A with power steering. However the drivers side doesn't fit an A body unless your not planning to steer the car..
That's the subject of this thread. B&E body manifolds, NOT A body.B and E body.
Not A body... yet
Actually, yes it will. If you cut the column case up close to the firewall and eliminate the column shifter and run a floor shifter. They will fit the 67 and up A bodies nice. Lots of them out there like that. However the drivers side doesn't fit an A body unless your not planning to steer the car..

@abodyjoe will argue all day long about big block A bodies being nose heavy. He had a 440 in a 64 Valiant and loved how it drove. Then the big dummy sold it. lolLearned something... Not that I'd put a big block in an A body, to me the great thing about A bodies is how light they are, the steering & handling are better without adding weight... A 340 or a 408 should be plenty IMO...
Unless you're stuck with a 69 Dart and the dreaded H code, or M Code.Learned something... Not that I'd put a big block in an A body, to me the great thing about A bodies is how light they are, the steering & handling are better without adding weight... A 340 or a 408 should be plenty IMO...
I would say that $110 would be a steal even if they needed to be cleaned up...So $110 for a set would be considered a steal?
