just wondering what you guys would do im a little confused....

im from new brunswick and my wife is set to have are second child on wednesday .. im pretty exited about this .

my line of work is a forestry heavy equipment operator i basicly run 30 ton machines threw the bush cutting trees..

Work in new brunswick is getting bad not much of it and it doesnt pay to much either and my father in law called today and ofered me a job in northern ontario for pretty much double what i make here and everything is paid for as far as an apartment..food. and some travel expences also

i dont know if i should accept or not with the new kid coming next week and my wife is gonna need some help im not shure about the 30 hr drive to wawa from my house...... Altho the income is desirable and would help lots

i dont know whats better for the family a little more then ennuff cash with me gone or barely enuff cash but with me here

Maybe you should go out there on a trial basis, and if things work out you move your entire family to Wawa. If things aren't going to get better in NB you have to do something...

first, congrates on the new baby coming.
if you can make it, don't miss any part of your children growing up. if possiable move your family with you, if not i'd pass. there is more to life than money, just don't find that out too late.

I,ve been to Wawa many times,if the money is there load up the family and think of your future. With a second child on the way, your gonna need all the work you can get.Good luck and congrats on the new addition.

Maybe I'm looking at it from the wrong angle. Certainly a different angle from the rest of ya'll who have replied above. The way I see it, he has just been manipulated into a position of having no choice but to accept the job and move his family. The new job is a lot more money. But it was offered by his FATHER-IN-LAW. Potential for big problems in the family if he doesn't take the new job. Or maybe I'm just way too cynical because of my own family.

Congrats on the new baby and much respect for putting your family first... I'd be all over that job offer, sounds like you might miss the birth of your second child.. But, this might be the chance to better off your whole family for a long time...

im gonna have 2x this one... and congrats

I can't stand to have dinner with my father-in-law!!

Spend time with your wife and new baby, they both will need you. If the job is still there in 6 months or so, then maybe considering moving the whole family.

thanks very much guys you gave me diffrent views on manny angles of it and i called up to wawa tonight and i accepted the job on a trial basis and will go from there i guess.

And i negotiated the start time to at least 2 to three weeks from now i wouldnt miss my kid coming into this world for anny thing..

again thank you you all helped out alot more then you can think

Good decision. The NB economy isn't going to improve anytime soon. You'll like it in Wawa, very scenic part of the country.

Excellent choice!!!! After the trial period and if you like it there, the family can go with. Love my kids and grandchildren, life is to short to not be around them!!!!
