worn out drums

How can I tell of my break drums are too thin, my boss looked at them and said that they are a little thin but hes a chevy guy so I thought that I would ask the mopar guys.

Measure them with a dial caliper, then go on-line and search (sometimes, the max is stamped on the drum).

If there is still a bevel at the top, that's a good thing. Take them to a machine shop or any local parts store that has a lathe and just ask for a measurement w/ a drum micrometer. The max diameter is stamped on the hub side of the drum (sand as necessary to read it). Most Mopar drums are allowed .09 over :cheers:
