My 2 door locks and my trunk lock all went bad at the same time.

Went into the garage Sunday, put the cover in the trunk and went for a ride.
Came home and the key would go into the door tumblers but would not turn them. No big deal sh*t happens. Went to take out the cover to put it on the car and the same thing. Dammmmmmm!
Ordered all new tumblers today. I can't believe they all went at once.

Yeah, that sucks! My locks don't want to turn either.

Most of the time though, it's the key wearing out and not the lock. If the key is too warn down, it wont be able to turn the tumbler properly anymore.
 
That wasn't it. I thought of that and tried my spare sets. Same thing.

I'm just glad it happened after I unlocked the doors. I also finally got the trunk open and left it open!!!

I always notch my door keys. That would of could of explained the doors vs. ignition, but the trunk too?
 
Made me think of something with this thread. Does anyone have any extra metal clips that hold the door locks in place? I need one for the drivers door.
