Ok, here's a shot of the /6 and V8 pedal side by side, the /6 is shorter, narrower, hollow in the back, and molded on the top for the rod pivot! It will not work for a V8 setup! The B body pedal is also different and will not work on an A body car!!
And here is the back of a B body pedal!! It has a roller on the flapper Rod on the firewall that rides that radiused slope on the top, and no pin and hinge on the bottom, just 2 bolts on the molded part that bolts to the floor!
