WTB: 727 to /6 converter

Wouldn't any 727 converter, stock or aftermarket work, as long as it matches the flexplate, or did the /6 727's have a different input shaft?
 
run a 904, all your doing is shooting your self in the foot running a 727. turbo cars running sub 10's run 904's with no issues, mark runs 10.5's on no2 and 11.50 NA with a 904.

I'm thinking of building a performance /6 and would like to bolt a 727 up to it. I've seen a converter and would like to know if anyone has one?

I think the OP is talking about the 60s adapter plate used to run a 727 behind a slant in the A/D100 series trucks before they made a 727 specifically for the slant.

I can't imagine any reason for wanting to run a 727. A 904 will stand up to a real stout small block stroker and consumes 20+ less horsepower to spin it. Plus that adapter is made of cast iron and combined with the heavier 727 will most likely add at least 60-70 lbs. to your car
 
Oh - I get it, a converter to adapt a 727 to a slant, not a torque converter....I didn't even know there was such a thing. Does it use a small block or a big block transmission?

they had early factory "conversion" plates but later cast dedicated 727 /6 trans.
