I've got a '64 Valiant with 10" drums on the back and I need the plungers (all four) that transmit force from the wheel cylinder pistons to the brake shoes. I don't know if the brakes are original to the car, but I do know that the plungers should have a spherical nose to mate with the concave surface of the wheel cylinder piston.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Apparently, they are called "brake shoe push rods", and I don't think anybody makes them new.

Anybody??

if you bought new wheel cylinders -- would that not have the part included?
i have a pan full of old crusty brake parts--- might have some plungers-- but it will be the weekend before I can check, Lawrence

It's amazing how hard these are to come by, they do not come with new wheel cylinders. I found a place on E-Bay that sells a lt of MPPAR brake parts ("MOTHERS MOPAR") and sent a message asking if they could come up with any. They found some and listed them for me. The price was fair.

Are these links the same for 9, 10 and 11" brakes?

If so I have some you can have, they were from 9" brakes on a scrapped 7.25 rear. They look the same as the ones for 11" brakes.

easy clean up
