Doesn't have to be A-body specific, can trim it down. Anybody have one out of a truck or something laying around that you aren't going to use?

I'm working on a deal for a 70 Duster that includes a complete Dana that measures 40.5" flange to flange. Let me know if that would work.

That sounds really narrow, was it a full tub car? I'll measure when I get home and get back, thanks!

It was going to be put into a fully tubbed car. The factory width is 52 5/8" so this rear is approximately 10" narrower or 5" on each side. The correct offset rims would then be used to put the wheels inside the rear fenders.

No problem. I just figured that I would let you know what I will have very soon.

my dad has a dana out of a truck that he's not going to use but im in southern cali

Ill get my butt down to that yard and see if I can dig one up in the next few days, it'll be an aweful *****, but it shouldnt be too bad. if I can find one, itll be 200$ plus shipping.

Do want just a housing or are you interested in gears or a posi? I have a housing a couple of power locks and a trac lock. I live in s.e. PA.

I have 2 truck danas. one has the ends cut off and the other is all together. both have gears and diffs. not sure if posi's or gear ratios. located in Wisconsin. let me know if interested.

Craigslist has been pretty dry so far. PM's going out to some of you, and huge thanks to all of you for your replies!

How much wider is the B than the A? We may not even need to narrow if we order the right custom wheels for it...

Thanks everyone. Found one for $50 on caigslist, 3.55 open carrier, drum to drum.

Thanks for looking out! Unfortunately it's not quite what the car's asking for... it'll be a pro-touring-ish car so a spool is out, the 4.10's are a bit much for the street, we'd still have to do 4-link tabs, need Ford 9 ends for the brake kits we're looking at, etc. Good luck w/ the sale though, that setup is money for anyone looking to tear up the 1320!

I know you said you picked up one on craigslist but mine ready to install:

Freight would be $250 plus any extra insurance you would want.
