I know I'm right....
I think the 440 and the slant six have way different snout depths. Guy Skinner (?)was doing a land speed record L6 and this came up in his damper hunt. Dont know if he had to mill the 440 snout so it was shorter or what the outcome was, but I know it isnt just a bolt on. Let us know.
