x-block to replace 340 block

I'm building a 416 and was wondering if the x block can use roller lifters with the tie bar or if it is like the R3 and has to use the isky roller lifters. Are there any other differences to the 340 stock block?

I believe it's ok to run but it may require clearancing for the tie bar. Or - Contact Brian at Indio Motor Machine (OU812 here). They have a set with the tie bar moved inboard that fits most blocks without trimming. The R3 has the issue the cooling jacket under the "bump" there.
