Love the sound of all the late model engines...they have more of a deep growl rather than just being loud.
I read somewhere it has some sort of clutch on the drive that allows it to free wheel when its not under power. How is the blower driven? If it is direct drive why does it sound like is it spinning down after the engine like a turbo? Does anyone know how it's driven?

Not that motor. They are built in Detroit. The car is built in Canada. BTW...Ford is the biggest auto manufacturer in Mexico. And don't make it sound as if 'built in Mexico is crap'. Because it isn't.
That's pretty smart. I generally cannot STAND too much technology, but that's slick.
if that is true, and I thought I heard something about that, I think that would be great. And maybe start the trend for the other auto makers. Not anymore. They are moving their plant back to the US.

Not sure I understand how a changing yellow traffic light has anything to do with how straight those cars went down the track in those videos. It appeared effortless and with a civilized control that isnt very intresting to watch when compared to the old mopar drag cars that used to fill the stands back in the 60s and 70s.
I also doesn't change the fact they sound more like a European performance car rather than any drag cars I recall regardless what the new pickups cost these days.
I'm just saying put something entertaining on the track so its worth showing up. I've seen and heard Vegas that were more fun.
You would have to set that thing on fire and point it at me to get my attention with it again after watching those videos.
Those cars are a sorry show in my opinion.
What do you really expect from an old A-body enthusiasts. How can one to be expected to like
modern cars when we have a bodies. Nothing else will do.
Here kitty, kitty.
Would love to see this 68 cuda match race a hellcat:cheers:
