A couple rounds into the Race, Jon faced off against Former World Champion (And Family Friend)
"Bad Brad" Burton. This was a rematch of the finals at Arizona Finals a couple
years ago where Brad beat Jon in a very tight race.
Jon held a tiny advantage on the start with a .007 light but Brad was almost
as good with a .010 light.
Jon took a stripe in the thousands (Less than a Hund.) against Brad's much faster car.
Jon broke out by .015 but Brad broke out by .010.
Often the difference between a truly great racer (Brad) and
merely good racers (Us) is measured in....
a few thousands
