I'm unperturbed about the question. If I lived 'back east' where salt is on the roads for months I would be inclined to paint it. In the drought-stricken State of Jefferson AND being a fair-weather driver of my Body-A, why bother?

What say youse?

I like stuff to look good at least for a while, so I probably would.
 
paint it. when it looks hammered *** in a few years, you'll rue the day you didn't.

and you'll be kicking yourself when you're pulling it to clean and paint it then.
 
Only if it's "red and you want to paint it black"
 
I was looking for Cast blast in brushon. Couldnt find, but found a trick the other day, use POR15 exhaust manifold paint. If it ever needs a touch up it brushes on. The coverage and durability on that stuff is incredible. I had a can already, so used it on my master cylinder.
Cast Blast... Looks like raw cast iron but it seals the metal...
