67 Dart GT Convertible! (What else!)

By far the best trim and cleanest lines

I hate the 70 up because the slanted forward at the top rear bumper.

Dusters would be my second choice.
They just look fast!
 
I've had a few A bodies in my life, but I will have to say Dusters are my favorite, any year, any engine at this point. I used to have a 74 Duster 360 4 speed, all original car with 2 previous owners & well taken care of. I wish I never sold it.

My favorite is the 70 / 71 Plymouth Dusters followed Dodge Demon. I have a 70 and 71 Duster, I also have a 71 Demon.

Apologize if i'm stepping on the thread, but the story of the green duster in my earlier post was that we went to look at it in 1974 in Maryland. The original owner had it garage kept w/30k mi for $1500. He said that he had built it up over the first few years, saved everything, but was now being transferred to California. The car looked stock and he had removed everything with the intention of driving it out west. With two small children & the wife, he thought he see what he could get for it before they moved. My Bud offered $1000. Not real happy, he took his # and said i'll get back to you. In the meantime he was ready to make a deal on a 69 383/auto Dart GTS that had 70k and some rust when the guy called and said i'm ready to make a deal. Final price ended at $1050 and he would give everything that went with the car. No brainer we went to pick it up and with it came a Tarantula intake, 750DP, Accel dual point, Headers, alum. valve covers and a 4.10 chunk. Goldmine. He did tell us the engine still had the .471/.474 hemi grind cam in it. 3 wks later, with only the 3.23 open gear and a oil change that car went 14.01 @ 100.3. I was hooked at that point. DA was probably about 700ft, but how awesome is nothing but a cam could put that car into those numbers.

I like my Barracuda, shown here with a family friend, but I'd love an Aussie Ute.
Super Stocks, M-Codes, Mr. Norm GSSs, and anything sick like that are too cool.
 
My dream car is the 68 hemi dart. But I’ve had my 73 for 16 years so it would be tough to beat.

68 valiant 2dr post wanted on since I was 15 finally got a basket case on my way to 1/3 restored on a 1/4 done .
 
Favorite is about 15' away from me awaiting a final restoration. We've had it since 1983.

Second is my son's car, but mainly because of how we built it (the way the factory should have). 440/4sp/Barracuda dash/etc. Before paint.

Fourth. Sold it in 1985. Commando 273/4sp/handling package/disc brakes/console/manual everything (NOT a Formula S). I changed the color, but this one was cool, just not the direction I was headed.

1965 Dart GoGo coupe with the 235hp 273 and a four-speed. I had one my senior year of high school (1966-67.) It was an amazing car for its’ time. I have a convertible like the one in the attached picture that’s in decent shape and a coupe that I hope will be someday. Well, the picture won’t load, but I’ve posted it before.
 
I like them all from 63-71. wish I had one of each with every engine and transmission combination.
