Instead of a discussion, How about a poll about coolant temps?

What engine coolant temperature do you run at. Doesn’t matter if it is the actual temp your engine runs at, being the best you can do with what you have, if you can run that temp, or if you are working towards that # while driving/making a run.


Street, Street/Strip, Race

Only one pick total (no voting in both polls please) for your main car, or the one you are most concerned about regarding coolant temps.

Would you change the pole to allow votes to be seen. Don't care who voted for want buy unless I vote in pole , #1 I can't see the results

There was a large thread a while back on what engine temp produces the most HP, your comment is spot on, each engine combo will be different in terms of best temp for HP

My pick is not on the list to choose.
I choose 185-210 degrees Fahrenheit, because it is normal.
