hey fellas, got the ballstud bracket bolted to the bell and it's off, best thing to do is cut bracket and lengthen to line it up better?

Or move frame side ball stud?

Looks like the bracket that bolts to the bell is bent


if you bend it in to the block it will line up
 
I still say its the mount and It is easier to bend if you have a vise and a hammer
 
how is the length of the z-bar compared to the balls ?
 
Brian.... thanks for the bending idea! I cut the wedge supports off of the bracket and bent it outwards, I went a tad too far as you can see in the picture but if I close it back up just a bit it looks like it will be spot on.

Then I'll wells the gussets back on the bracket!
 
Got it all welded back up and bolted in, finished installing the clutch linkage as well.
Roughly how far should the throw out bearing be off of the diaphragm fingers at rest?
