The best part of it, though, is that you can choose to be thoughtful and informed any time you want, or never at all. It's totally up to you.
heres lookin' at you kid, lol
i drive the back 40 of colorado springs at night. the roads are pitch black, long and twisty. those factory replacement halogen bulbs are not anywhere near adequate when you have every creature you can think of jumping out in front of your car. i will take my chances with those garbage HID headlights so im not out there running over people or animals. i prefer to actually see where i am going in the hills. its not that i like them because i think they are "cool" . i am 44 years old, the cars are "cool", not the lighting. i "like" them because i can see 5 times farther than the factory stuff.
No, it really does not. Read this.
i got these for me not u :finga:

i know that some folks arent even allowed to drive at night
well , now that i am thoughtless and ignorant , i will still thank you for sparing me a personal attack.
I wonder how your car would look with a 4 pack of ralley car lamps clamped on the front bumper.

I live out in the woods as well. I have an 02 Cheby that I have 4 Hella's on the front of it as well as having the low beams wired to stay on with the high beams. Anyone can say what they want but at least I can see at night. My lights have kept me from hitting critters more than once. I am hoping to get a different bumper built for the front, but one way or the other I will end up with a set of these on it soon. DOT approved? Don't know......don't care. Meet all sorts of strict standards? Don't know........don't care. What I do know is they throw a boat load of very useable light. My friend that owes me a bumper is a retailer for them, so there price tag is not so scary. Tossing around the idea of looking for another grill for my Dart and seeing if I could not mount some of these lights on my car.....I wonder how your car would look with a 4 pack of ralley car lamps clamped on the front bumper. I would want some serious light if I was constantly driving in large varmint country.

Will not use the off road lights until I am out of town. Use them when I am going from Spokane to Phoenix a lot, very little traffic on the route I take early in the morning/late at night....I don't have a problem with your truck as long as you have the lights off the moment you see oncoming lights. Those things will blind oncoming long before their headlights have any effect on your vision.

That was a little harsh, Dan. I am sure what he has is better than the factory stuff.
