i wont go back,it seems everyone is so full of them selves ,everyone is always right.its like there is a attitude.so much better over here.god forbid you miss spell a word over there, they act like you committed murder.

Hey, bud, you're preachin' to the choir, here, LOL. Last time I was over there I got into one hell of an argument about setting valve lash.

(for the record, "valve lash" is spelled "EOIC")

Of all the 'Mopar' forums I've tried, (some good, some bad) I have to agree that this For A-Bodies Only forum is top tier. There does not seem to be near as much 'in your face' posting. I truly appreciate the members that help each other out. This site seems to embody being in a brotherhood with other Mopar enthusiasts. There may be a bit of friction sometimes but nothing that seems really nasty. There are members here such as 1969383S who spent his own time and energy to reproduce schematics that are interactive and then is willing to distribute it for free. I owe a debt of gratitude to several members that have responded to tech questions and look forward to someday meeting some of you guys in person. Like jdsduster, I too have left other sites/forums because of behaviors of others.

Most everyone on this sight are a real pleasure to work with, I myself have made a few good friends from the cooraspondence, excuse the spelling please. Isnt life great?

There I fixed it for you....:)

What is Moparts?? :violent1: :finga:

FABO is the best damn MoPar site on the interweb :prayer:

Over the years they have run most of the good knowledge from that place. Damn shame. Was a good site at one time. It's all about what Clique you are in these days.

I still visit both sites. There are some decent dudes over there who aren't necessarily in to a-bodys. I would hate to cut ties with them just because their b-body guys (or whatever).

Just like any site, there are always going to be a few bad apples who have to spoil it for everyone else.

I've searched alot of sites " I have 2 abody's 1 f and a Olds " and fabo is the most helpful and understanding people I have ever dealt with. Ask what you will and usually get straight answer in your knowledgeable language. If that makes sense.

I only go over there to check out the cars for sale and the restoration threads.
That's maybe every 2 weeks or so.......

everyone is a master mechanic behind a keyboard. lol
moparts is just like any other site, you have good and bad.
mental midgets come in many forms.lol

I have been a member over on Moparts since about 1997 (back when they had the cascading thread format) and I was once a moderator on there as well. A-body guys get very little respect over there. And it can be very clan-ish most of the time or some guys use it as their private chat room. I now go over there once every couple of months and only check out the "restoration" forum for the most part. I click on here at least once or twice a day. Moparts used to be a wealth of knowledge, but the petty sniping and "you're not in the group" mentality has really watered it down over there. It used to be THE Mopar website. Now it is just one of the many.

You do know that the A, no.1, grammar nazi and spelling Dbag from over there is now a member here...

Just pointing that out

As Joe said, there have been many there that have been run off that could provide excellent tech.

Well, I found this site and haven't logged in "over there" since.

Too clique e for me, and when you do offer some help or advice there is always someone to tell you you are completely wrong and use different words to explain exactly what you did.

x2.
I do go there maybe weekly. Still have some great friends from there but sometimes the ganging up of ignorance just isn't worth the argument so I lurk more than post these days.

If only their cars ran as good as their mouths.... :argue:

There are some savvy guys there - many mean well but parrot the others and then you get the problems. The race forum there has some incredibly sharp guys but it's still difficult to get an intelligent debate going on anything without it devolving. It used to be THE tech spot to talk and toss ideas around. Like when Ryan J was wet flowing heads with dykem (in his learning stage...lol), and Dwaye P was more open and active.
