its a satanic holiday and the day of immense demonic activity
i wouldnt be opposed to canceling it all together

How does that happen?
Do demons get vacations and then work harder on Halloween?
I don't think Halloween is technically a holiday for people.
If it is a holiday for Satan, I would think that he's off work that night.

Inquiring minds want to know.

It's about children dressing up and getting candy.
However this day and age parents are so scared that their kids are going to get poison they might as well just get rid of it.
Pretty sad when you can't be American
anymore

Bullshit. Halloween is “All hallows eve” and a symbol of repelling evil from the Earth the night before “All Saints Day”...a celebration of good.

There is nothing Evil about Halloween, quite the opposite.

Learn some history before you judge.

Want to know where the term “Jack-O-Lantern” came from?

“On route home after a night's drinking, Jack encounters the Devil and tricks him into climbing a tree. A quick-thinking Jack etches the Sign of the cross into the bark, thus trapping the Devil. Jack strikes a bargain that Satan can never claim his soul.

After a life of sin, drink, and mendacity, Jack is refused entry to heaven when he dies. Keeping his promise, the Devil refuses to let Jack into hell and throws a live coal straight from the fires of hell at him. It was a cold night, so Jack placed the coal in a hollowed out pumpkin to stop it from going out, since which time Jack and his lantern have been roaming the Earth looking for a place to rest.”

Why do people wear costumes on Halloween?

A religious perspective to the wearing of costumes on All Hallows' Eve, states that by dressing up as creatures "who at one time caused us to fear and tremble", people are able to poke fun at Satan "whose kingdom has been plundered by our Saviour".

Images of skeletons and the dead are traditional decorations used as reminders of death and the total loss of the afterlife by those who choose not to believe in the Savior.

If you truly understand what it is about, Halloween is all about good on every level.

In the lightest sense, it is about community and children having fun. In the deepest sense, it is about repelling Satan and evil from our lives.

It IS NOT a celebration of evil in any sense.

not quite, when the catholics took over, they took pagan, druidic holidays and gave them new "christian" names (a practice commonly referred to as "inclusion" and it is why you see "churches" today with "preachers" in deck shoes and jeans, hoola girls jumping around and rock bands playing "praise" music)

druids had been celebrationg halloween long before the catholics came along, only they called it samhain

like you said, history

(on a side note, look up what Anton LaVey had to say about haloween)

Evil is only what you make it to be. Halloween isn’t evil, only your interpretation of it is.

I'm going with this. I grew up dressing up for Halloween. It was a night to get bundled up, walk around the block, stay up late and acquire and eat a lot of candy. We loved it. We were allowed to love it. It had no real meaning. We were kids.

Druidwhatchamacallit had absolutely nothing to do with it. Nothing.

Ahhh Lovely Lucerne Valley :D On a college field trip to visit a spot in the Mojave Desert with "Marine Fossils" at 3000' elevation  we saw an anomaly in Lucerne Valley. In the middle of the valley floor there is a large rock formation that does not match the surrounding area, completely different materials, shapes and even vegetation is different. From the air it's evident that this formation was at one time a part of the mountain side 7 or 8 miles away and up the slope. Theorized that during an earthquake this huge slab of rock (acres) became dislodged and started to slide down the steep slope and as it gained momentum built a cushion of air beneath and without disturbing the earth under it floated/flew to the valley floor where it settled as it lost velocity. There is no obvious trail of devastation down the slope and little evidence of debris between the visible spot it left the slope and the spot it settled. Only in the Mojave .

No, it's not. It's founded in Christianity you ignorant fool. All Hallows Eve was a Christian feast to mark the coming All Hallows (or All Saints Day). Dumbass.

Not quite, it has it origins in Celtic druidism and predates Christianty by at least 5 decades
All the Christian's did was take a pagan holiday and place a "christian" moniker over it

The rituals, the pictures, the severed heads with the souls still burning (we call them Jack-o-lanterns) they all kept

Feel free to believe what you want, but if you want to convince me I'm wrong (wouldn't be the first time) then show me the verses which teach the doctrines that "all hallows" is based on

Whatever you say sir. Whose to say that something founded in paganism cannot be turned into something good? The blood of Jesus Christ washes away all sin, or have you forgotten that, too? I don't have to show you jack. I just proved it.
