Nausea? Cravings? That’s it your pregnant! lol glad your feeling better. I had some of the same symptoms.
After two months, taste and smell has slowly returned to normal. I'm feeling 100%, like I was before I got sick, no side effects, and glad to have it over. In April last year, a friend of ours was very sick with Covid, and in ICU for a week. She was one of the first in our area to receive convalescent plasma, and walked out of the hospital two days later. Pretty amazing. The wife (had Covid also) and I have our first appointment tomorrow with the blood bank to donate convalescent plasma. For every donation you could save three lives.
OK that makes more scene Thanks...I had it in early December. After I felt great I test positive 4 times. Wasn’t till like mid January before I got a negative test.
Dang, I joined a whisky tasting group over a year ago. Because of Covid we haven't been getting together but a buddy down the street and i have been doing our own tasting. I would be a lost pup if I couldn't smell or taste right now.Got most of my taste back now. Smelling this is improving too. Beer still tastes like crap.
Well on the bright side of loosing my taste and smell all my bad bottles of whisky I could polish off and make room for the good stuff.Dang, I joined a whisky tasting group over a year ago. dam , its colder than that here , supposed to be a 60 coming next week .Taste 50-60% and while driving to town this morning I actually got a whiff of smoke from a woodburner. Probably helped actually seeing the smoke before I drive through it. Very cold, 10 degrees this morning so the smoke was hanging low. I had it at Thanksgiving.
After a couple months, I have regained 50% taste and smell. Funny I have no desire or taste for alcohol.
Still get tired, don't sleep well at night, and have at least one 20-30 minute nap a day.
I guess it's a slow recovery.
Its weird how Covid affects some different from others. I'm a very heathy 64 year old, never sick, can't remember the last time I had the flu, or even a cold. I got Covid and it kicked my *** for two weeks finally ending up on the Covid floor at the hospital, with double pneumonia. Luckily no lung damage, but it was an eye opener. As bad as I was, I remember laying there thinking if I get out of here, I'm going to lead my life better, think healthy, and enjoy living!! So far so good lost 25 pounds. Both my wife and myself were exposed Jan.1. When we found out, we both had rapid tests done. Both negative. A couple days later, she had a slight cough so she went for another rapid test. That also was negative but she thought she had caught it so went for a standard test on the same day. 3 days later it came back positive. In the mean time she still had a slight cough and a bit of a headache. When she tested positive, I still had no symptoms but decided to go for a standard test. 2 days later, that came back positive.
I had a runny nose for 1 day, less than my allergies affect me.
So I stayed home and worked on my car for 2 weeks.
Never lost smell or taste.
