After the recent closing of Arizona Speedway in San Tan Valley/Phoenix
looky what Phoenix just got :D

https://www.adobemountainspeedway.com/

Reading the schedule, it appears to be for the smaller racing vehicles.
Go Karts, Dwarf Cars, Flat Track Motorcicles, Micro Sprints, etc.
That's good too.
Shouldn't be in conflict with Canyon Speedway.

$39 us for 5 hubcap clips for the original fargo wheels. Think im going to substitute something.
Maybe the banding used on lifts of lumber, i think that stuff might work.

On early v8 cars was the v8 callout on both sides? I only drilled on right side.....and only 1 penstar?

Wtf? People calling/texting after hours. No reply until im in shop tomorrow.
Another wtf, i havent had truck on road for a week, guy that sold it to me offered $7,000. Pffft!
Offer is a little shy. 30/hour for labour im at 300 hours minimum.

My 66 when I got it, it was original sheet metal, only had one, on right side, left not drilled for one.......BUT I agree both sides....

You don't know what you got till it's gone.

So just got back to ND and the amount of pages you guys can tossup over a weekend is staggering. I traveled to Little Rock Ark and was one of the instructors teaching some advanced defensive pistol classes. Think shooting while on your back, from inside a vehicle, from behind cover, moving from cover to cover etc. great time but high light for me was next day teaching some little people. Much like our hobby on old cars to teach the next generation is both an honor and our responsibility. Just a great weekend of gun bunny stuff.

Looks like more partying today. Some kind of national holiday here. Don't know how much longer I can do it .LOL:lol:

Remember when banks weren't open on Saturdays and closed at 5 on a daily basis?
I got stuck working late on a Friday and needed cash.
I was working away from home in construction.
The only place I knew of near the workplace that would cash a paycheck other than a bank was Gemco,
another blast from the past.
Only drawback was you had to make a purchase to cash the paycheck.
I went to the sporting goods department.
Picked out a 10/22 Ruger

like the young fella has here.
Bought the rifle, cashed the check, left with cash in my pocket and rifle in hand.

Probably got on a bus to take it home..
Used to take the .22 on the bus to go to the civic centre, they had a range in the basement. It was in a case, but it was obvious what i had.
