I’ve had 3 of these era of F150s. All with the 4.6. This one is the most comfortable and I do like the clean lines vs some of the gawdy crap they put out now. Plus I’m not going to pay over 40k for a new truck. Ready for another 100k.
You start getting into top line 1/2 tons and 3/4 tons that’s as much as my house Cost that I built in 97. Like they say and who they are unknown but there’s only two ways it can be either you have a lot of money or you owe a lot of money

Ya good home made burgers big almost can’t finish one it’s an air port also. Sometimes on a Sunday in fare weather not uncommon to see 10 15 planes there cessnas pipper cubs and the such. Lots of bikes as it’s on the way to the whiteshell prov park
Would love to visit there someday.

I'll walk before I buy another new car or truck. Just can't afford having a big car payment.
Finding a truck like yours for sale is hard.

Your lucky you live in the states , 1/2 ton lamarie 99,000$ up here .:BangHead:

Plus anything over $55,000 has luxury tax so most guys are buying one tons because there’s no luxury tax on a work truck

Brought my new 1456 sq. Ft. Home in. In 97 for 93,000 what’s wrong with this picture are people kidding them selves. $1000 for house $1000 for truck need to be making a **** pile to afford that never mind Food, power, heat and taxes. It’s going to end there will be a correction just like 1929. Tell me me I’m looking up a dead horse. But?

Something is gonna happen in your country and mine and not looking good for the working guy I think.

I think a lot of people are leasing them.

And a good write off. At least in the states. No maintenance. Always driving new stuff.
Just talked to my cousin in Washington State and he has a nice home nothing to fancy but pays $400 A month in property tax so weather you own it or not doesn't matter you will pay one way or another.

Truly a bend over State.
I pay 200 a month. Pretty average house. Not uppity at all. Gotta drive past a lot of not real fancy stuff to find me. And now they just passed a "Resort" tax in my immediate city. There already is a resort tax in a neighboring city. Funny thing... they have a resort, we don't'

Figures they find a way to raise the tax. I remember in Washington I had a nice view of Mt. Rainier and was taxed more on having a view of it but the guy next house over his taxes was cheaper because he couldn't see the mountain.

That actually makes sense to me. I'm sure it wasn't a lot of money difference. I'd be all over a sales tax if they eliminated the property tax but I know that will never happen.

Spent all day writing a bid on a total loss. Gotta treat it like any other business transaction.
I knew it was a total but the insurance companies pay us to prove it. Lots of pictures and documentation but in the long run, it must be saving them money and I make a little.
