Hey you seniors, over 60 guys. Ever get that comment doing stuff? I'm going to refrain, from commenting until I hear your stories. Skydiving, scuba, work, or drag racing and the like. What is your story? Edit; before your brain goes there....keep this clean. Craig

Get out of the way old timer, you're too old to hold your bladder , get a hard on... or hit the brake instead of the gas pedal and not plow through the post office, bank, physicians, hallmark, ace hardware's front window/lobby. Dangerous would be to fart in public and not **** your pants...yep every fart is a wet fart and you make more noise when you move then grandmas rickety old rockin chair...so settle down.:poke:

Joking aside, You were good in your time.. and we thank you.

Not sure if this qualifies but I'm over 60 and my 87 year old mother still wonders why I like these old cars so much and when I'll grow up and get over it!!
(p.s. I'm just blessed and thankful to still have her!!)

Boxing. Up until a few years ago we still had an old-school gym nearby, and had sparring a couple nights a week. Kinda miss it now that it's gone, but I still have a speed bag in the basement.
"I don't wanna hurt you, old timer..."
"Need a hand getting up off the canvas, kiddo?"

When I painted my house three years ago (I was 68), I had several people walking buy tell me I was too old to be up on a ladder. I just smiled and said I'm younger than I look.

I hope this thread was intended as a joke..lmao
no sweat, I do fart way too often, and I have not one but three rocking chairs in the House.
But I do manage to get out and at least get to 35-40 MPH with the charger before i fall asleep!
Sometimes I really need to get milk at the local convenience store in order to have some warm milk in order to get to sleep, so i could find my walker, or get in the GTX LOL

I run my huskies by attaching their leads to an apparatus on my bicycle... I let them get their exercise without me being dragged around the neighborhood... Lotta people think I'm crazy, I could be killed.. Maybe they are right... But in the past with my previous huskies I walked them allot, it got to the point I was walking them eighteen miles every day & when done they were still ready to go twice as far...

I tried harnessing them to my bike & found a five mile run would wear them out pretty good & they were content for the rest of the day....

In the first month I got crashed twice, my fault, I failed to control the dogs... Once they saw a cat, the other time a rabbit.... You need to pay attention & spot the distraction before it becomes a distraction... Whether you do that by watching your surroundings or what I actually found worked better was watching the dogs & if their attention shifted you need to correct them immediately....

After those two incidents it's been probably ten years & I haven't hit the pavement.. Had to grab the brakes & control the situation yeah but I haven't gone down...

I would love to go diving again soon, haven't been since the last trip to Hawaii back in 2016..

Last time I climbed higher than fifteen feet on a ladder? Three weeks ago....

I might be getting older but I haven't died yet... And I'd rather die trying rather than do nothing...

I'm still climbing ladders, trees, working way above ground, driving too fast, peeling out, trusting farts and winning, looking at nekkid women and eating whatever I want. I live like I have lived most of my life and will only change when I have no choice!

Im in the minority of what I still do for guys my age (70 in less than a month) and im proud of it
I hear guys tell me all the time they are amazed that I still work like I do, but I dont work full time anymore......My legs, knees, back cant take it anymore. Older age brings on problems, often you pay the price for how you abused your body all your life. I abused mine by never taking much time off, if it wasnt overtime, it was a side job and after that it was constant work on my old house
What ive found now is my balance is way off, I cant climb on steel, over pipes, im not comfortable working at height.
My last few years I worked full time in ship repair, it seemed like one day I just had trouble working in tight spaces below deck ...You have crawl under deck, through rib holes, its tight and restrictive and the feeling of being trapped was becoming a issue
I focused on the job at hand and tried not to think about it but years ago I wouldn't have given it a second thought
The problem for older people is injuries, you fall it can be bad, years ago you'd just get bruised up, you have to use your head and be careful
My biggest issue now is no patience. I have no patience for assholes, bigots, con artists, rude people and haters, to name a few.
Like a guy told me once, getting old isn't for sissy's.....aint that the truth

I might be too old to cut the mustard...................................................BUT I CAN STILL LICK THE JAR!!!!!!!!

New roof a couple years ago. At least a 12/12 pitch. Nope, not this guy. Make the call, write the check is my motto. I know my limitations.

One of my best friends father walked to work at least a mile and back every day. Had to be around 60+. One night a big guy broke into their house looking for drugs or money for drugs. David's skinny father told him to get out, but the guy rushed him. He came to with the cops waiting for him to go to jail. Turns out David's father was a golden gloves boxer in the Navy.

I never listened to most people growing up, I'm not about to now at 67. Most of them don't know half of what I know or what I can do.

My Dad's 83. and mom 80. They can do whatever they want..... Let them ride their wave. Eventually they will not be able to do things at even a minimal level.... Or maybe not. Nobody knows the future or someone's ability at any age.

As I say you're a grown *** man (lol) so do your thing. I would rather take them to the emergency room with a twisted ankle from working their garden then pumping them full of pills and pushing an agenda that "MAKES" then see the reality of getting older and being afraid to do what they want!

Hit triple digits on the snowmobile speedometer this past weekend on a frozen lake. I turn 65 this summer, no one told me yet, but I know those runs will be coming to an end soon

We're growing older. But life's too short to waste time growing up.
:)
I'm still a kid, just one that runs at half speed...
