Anyone have luck with the "all natural" product that solves all of our male prostate quirks?
I take Saw Palmetto as needed. I have been checked as having a enlarged prostate which I hear is fairly common. My PSA numbers are in check so hopefully no cancer. The Saw Palmetto seems to work well when I have occasional issues. Check with your doctor to make sure.Anyone have luck with the "all natural" product that solves all of our male prostate quirks?
That's Way FUBAR Brother! Sorry to hear that he was Victimized by the medical industry. Just Recently, I found out how vile SOME, not All.of em, can be.... Best Wishes and Prayers for a Long and Healthy as can be life for Pops, You, and the Rest of the Family. GOD BLESS Y'ALL!!!!!FYI
stepDAD is 77
had chemo therapy for prostate cancer
as I understand it, all men get prostate cancer if they live long enough
I think you might need to avoid table pepper
I would completely eliminate sugar for a month and watch how much better you feel-personal opinion
dad's chemo despite high-end expensive doctors was either too intense, or conducted too long during treatment sessions, or with probably not enough recovery time
they destroyed/damaged/fucked up allot of things below his waste
he pisses out of a catheter, it gives him infections, he sometimes pisses blood, can't sleep when he needs to piss...he could die soon, which would devastate my sister and mother which would be so very difficult to handle
It costs money, but a second opinion, or some OTHER DOCTOR WITH NO $$KIN IN THE GAME verifying his health during this fucked up treatment would have prevented so many problems
the man has a PhD but believes ANYTHING you tell him if you are an expert. but an expert might only be a specialist not checking on the big picture and the damage that surrounding organs and tissue are receiving during treatment
probably could not do ENOUGH research, but reading 3-5 books on the subject will give you a much better idea of what to expect, what to ask, and closer to finding out what you wouldn't know to ask that could be imperative to your specific body chemistry
best wishes and GOD bless you sir, gentlemen, to all whom may be concerned...
Thank you brother! May GOD keep you and yours close to his heart forever. That's Way FUBAR Brother! Sorry to hear that he was Victimized by the medical industry. My PSA's were elevated. Dr did biopsy=negative. 6 months later PSA higher yet, another biopsy=negative. 4 times over 2 years. Biopsy came back positive the 4th time. Dr wanted to do surgery, to remove prostate. I was unable to comply at that time, and the DR pissed me off, so I fired him. I went to another urologist, who gave me several options. First DR did not suggest options.
1 surgery
2 radiation
3 chemo
4 watchfull waiting
I went for radiation treatments. Once a day for 12 weeks. Takes about 15-30 minutes each. No side effects, and if it is not effective, there are still the other options. I have been cancer free for about 6 years, now.
I tried Saw Palmetto and it didn't help my PSA drop any. My numbers kept inching up for years, even though everything worked fine. They finally found my cancer with my 3rd biopsy in March of 2020, and it was very aggressive as far as Prostate cancer goes. My surgery was 4-8-20. I got very lucky and it was all contained in the prostate. My PSA has been undetectable since. @DartGTDan If they want to do what's called a Perineal biopsy, let them do it....that's how they found mine. Don't just not worry about it and let that crap kill you man.
JDMopar,
I'm glad to hear about your success/victory. I didn't mean to sound flippant about my prostate issue, but in February (2022) I was diagnosed with a rare liver disease called PSC (Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis). Basically the bile ducts in, and around, my liver are getting hard and narrow. There is no cure for PSC, and depending how it progresses, I may need a liver transplant(s). So, I've been a little more focused/concerned about that.
