Yes, the P/S is supposed to align with the front most pulley.

I really like your run stand. Can you get some detailed pictures?
Hi my fellow moparians
I was test fitting my radiator, looks like I'll be going with manual steering for sure, the p/s pulley wouldn't work, or I couldn't make it work. IT's going to take a 1/2" spacer. Are all spacers to fit the bolt pattern on the pump? Most of them also come with fine thread bolts which is no biggy. Oh, I also tried the trick where you pull the engine/trans back, didn't move any and the bolts are loose. I'm wanting to fabricate a fan shroud, I want air pulled through that radiator and I mean suck it through like a vacuum cleaner! The fan that is shown it what was on the '75 Plymouth duster, mine had the little four blade. or any suggestions on a lighter fan?

There’s a few on Amazon , the fan on my engine is 18”, this in may allow my ps pulley to fit.

I cannot recommend those. I've seen one come apart first hand and we even had a member here who had one come apart and slice a big hunk out of his shoulder. They're dangerous. There’s a few on Amazon , the fan on my engine is 18”, this in may allow my ps pulley to fit.

Hay, go for it if you want. It's your car. I'm sure that failure is somewhat rare, but the devastation it can cause is not worth it to ME.Rats!
The stiches and days off work are not worth itHere you go @Dne007. This is what happened to @chryslerfat. Although his fan was rusted and I'm sure that was a contributing factor, what happens is, the aluminum blades begin to crack around the rivets and that's when the problem comes in. The one that came apart on us back about 1983 was the exact style above and was less than two weeks old. Same scenario. It broke a blade at the rivets and the blade came through the hood of a friend's Nova. That's why I will not run a flex fan like that and I will not recommend them. Here is what happened to @chryslerfat. Maybe he will chime in and tell us how many stitches it took. It was a lot.

*MUST READ*--Flex Fan Danger--Be very careful working on old cars
Here is the fan again for those that have not seen it. The steri strips cover the nasty look for now and the bottom was still not healed enough to remove the gauze. It is healing good.www.forabodiesonly.com

Yeah, they flatten out at RPM so the load of the fan is not so much.In the late 70’s, I had a 65 GTO clone(Lemans with a gto front. 326), it had a heavy fan similar to what I have. I was running through the 4 speed, and it threw the alt belt. I bought a flex fan at HiLo and it was so quiet, like I didn’t have a fan, the difference was incredible. It’s just a memory;)
