My 340 has the original 1894 casting heads with dual valve springs and Harland Sharp roller rockers. I believe the cam is an Isky hyd 292°.505 lift cam but I haven't confirmed that. I have not torn the engine down since I bought the car a few years ago. I started getting metal to metal noise...

Hi folks! I would like to change the VCs on my ride to chrome steel but this is the first time I've had roller rockers. Is there a clearance issue with steel over cast aluminum? Yes, I know that cast seals the gaskets better. Thanks!
